Reading 11-7-11

I finished the book "Thirteen Reasons Why." Throughout the whole book it didn't seem like a depressing book, especially when the topic was suicide, but by the end it started to get sad. I felt really bad that she new what she wanted to do so far in advanced and then recorded all of her feelings on audio tapes, and plan out exactly where the tapes were supposed to go. I was especially mad when she realized she had to go get help and give life one last try, so she went to her guidance counselor who didn't realize what she was going through or try to figure out how to help. That made me really mad because by the time she decided there was no going back and helping her.

  1. hmm I've never heard of this book before, but it seems interesting in an odd way. I'm going to pretend that i didn't read this, go find the book and try it for a while. would you say it was worth reading?

  2. That was unfortunate -- it's sad when someone reaches out, finally, and the person to whom they reach out misses the cues.
